Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.
Bas Celik, which is actually written using Serbian letters that I can’t reproduce in my blog editor, is a 2005 board game from Serbia using Serbian myths as its theme. Your job is to reach the bad guy Bash Celik, rip his heart out, and bring it back to your sanctuary.
The game plays a lot like Talisman, but your opponents roll for the monsters you attack, which gives them something to do on your turn. It’s by sggc Alea Magica, Belgrade, Serbia and Monte Negro.
