RuneQuest is a game that’s been around a while—I won’t tell you how long ago it was when I was playing it in high school—the recent reincarnation by Mongoose, however, only 3-4 years. Still, apparently it was time for a thorough revision, because the company has just issued RuneQuest II with new combat mechanics, a redefined magic system, and reworked cults. Also, the book is bound in leather.
