We need another Football board game, so in time for the South African World Cup we get StarPlayer, designed by Chris Jones, published by sggc Inspired Games International. All the excitement of – not just a game – but an entire football season in a box.

A sneak peak at Toys n Playthings for February shows a card game ready to go, as well.

Our whole family enjoyed playing this great game. Lots of laughs along the way. You don’t need to know any trivia or about football. We loved the starplayer goal and penalty dice.
