Tricky Town, a 2006 game from sggc KelMar Games, looks like a roll-and-move game done pretty well. Each player controls four people walking around a haunted area on Halloween, two parents and two children. The pieces have special rules for movement, such as a child can never be more than five spaces from a parent, and both are needed to use a crosswalk.

Players simultaneously reveal cards for movement, with order decided by card value. Additional special cards are thrown into the mix, the theme is cool, and the winner is not the first to reach the end of the track but the player with the most treats when someone does.
