Two Doctor Who Board Games Coming from Imagination

Imagination Games is planning two new Doctor Who board games this year, according to Toy News. (source)
The games are supposed to have “innovative mechanics”. I’m hoping that puts it ahead of Doctor Who Top Trumps, Doctor Who Operation, and Doctor Who UNO (all real, sad to say).

I could see an interesting Doctor Who board game using mechanics from Cheapass Games’ “Timeline.” In which the values of various resources are altered each time you travel back in time. ‘Course, collecting resources isn’t really fitting with the theme, but the general mechanism is in place there.
