Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.
I continue to be impressed with quality coming out of Steve Jackson Games recently. At NY Toy Fair, the company is previewing two new casual dice games. Cthulhu Dice is a simple game of attacking fellow players with the roll of a custom 12-sided. The last to retain their sanity in the form of glass scoring marbles (pun intended?) is declared the winner. Only $5. Zombie Dice includes 13 custom dice and and a dice cup. It’s a push-your-luck game where players, acting the part of the zombies, attempt to accumulate (eat) 13 brains before suffering three shotgun blasts in a turn.
Ooh! Also, knowing I’m a big fan of the game, Randy let me take a picture of the still-in-development 5/6 player expansion for Revolution.
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Did Randy comment at all on the expansion development process?
The company is hoping to have it out this summer.
The budget friendly casual dice games look like they’d be a great travel game for a quick fix. I’m curious to try them.
