Traveller allows players to roleplay adventure in space. But over the years, for many people the quintessential Traveller adventure has involved carting cargo from planet to planet, trying to keep up with the mortgage payments on a decrepit space ship. Mongoose is now supporting that with extra rules for corporate organizations, new merchant careers, speculative trading, and other commercial activities, all to be found in Traveller Book 7: Merchant Prince.

For a variety of adventures, Mongoose is hosting a Traveller Open Day on Saturday May 1st. Free adventures all day at the company’s office in Swindon.

Update: We’ve noted that the picture of the cover for Merchant Prince indicates that it’s “Book 8.” However, consistent with the classic Traveller series, this is actually Book 7.
