Konami has renamed the Yu-Gi-Oh! competitive play program from the “SHONEN JUMP Championship Series” to the “Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series” and is relaunching it with an event at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia May 15-16. Konami promises more competition, more prizes, more side events, more DUEL TERMINALS, and more Yu-Gi-Oh! video games. Also, a jumbo-sized Stardust Dragon statue.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! United States National Championship event will take place in Minneapolis July 9-11. The World Championship is scheduled for August 14-15 in Long Beach.
