Games Workshop has announced Spearhead, an expansion for Warhammer 40K detailing tank battles and breakthrough battles.

The expansion will be contained in June’s issue of White Dwarf magazine, and will include the rules, missions, and hobby advice.

GW has also announced that new miniatures and plastic kits are on the way for use in Spearhead.

Be prepared to loosen those purse strings.  While the expansion may be free (well…free if you’re a paid subscriber to White Dwarf), all those new GW goodies are sure to be pretty expensive.
