While there have been plenty of other iPhone board games we’ve covered, this is the one I’ve REALLY been waiting for. Carcassonne is now available for the iPhone for $4.99, and it looks fantastic. Right now it’s just the base game, but expansions are coming. An iPad version is also in the works and will soon be available for $9.99.

There’s solo play, a solitaire mode, local/3G multiplayer and more. I will SO be getting this, and will report back once I’ve played it enough.
