Australian board and DVD game company Imagination Games has sold two of its games – Fact Or Crap and Battle of the Sexes – to burgeoning game and toy company Spin Master for $24 million Australian dollars (around $21.7 million USD).
The reason for the sale, if it wasn’t already obvious, is to deal with some bank problems.

Update: Toy News indicates that the sale also included Beat The Parents, Left Center Right, Quelf, Scabs ‘N Guts, Urban Myth, and Would You Rather (now that they have the trademark secured). Imagination will license some rights back from Spin Master in Oceania and the UK.

That’s a huge chunk of change for those 2 titles. I swear I quoted the printing on these a few years ago and I don’t recall the numbers being that huge. (Caveat: I don’t profess visibility into any of this based on a sale I didn’t make!)
There are multiple publishers publishing these games. University does Battle of the Sexes, for example.
