I think both the move to Tuesdays and adding a poll are both excellent ideas. Folks are more apt to comment during the week in between breaks at normal workday hours, and less likely to do so throughout a weekend on a non-message board or forum site like this one. And polls are great topic-starters and icebreakers to any subject.
Really… there’s a poll in the sidebar… where? Oh yeah, under all the ads and other stuff (that Amazon ad is huge!).
Maybe the poll should be in the post itself?

Kevin: Then the poll would get lost under all the newer posts. I’m still playing around with placement right now, so it’ll probably move around until I find the best spot.
Well… moving it up helped… but I still vote putting it inside the post since it’s part of the parlay post.
At least put a box around it and put it on another colored background so it stands out next to those ads!
