Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.
Ever watch Avatar: The Last Airbender? If so, then you know Uncle Iroh loves a good game of Pai Sho. What you may not know if that the game, even though convincing, is completely fictional.
That is, it WAS completely fictional.
The Pai Sho Project was formed to create a set of rules so people can actually play Pai Sho. Everything from the project is released under a creative commons non commercial share alike licence.
You can also check out a great primer on the game at WikiHow, which borrows heavily on the work done at the Pai Sho Project.
It looks pretty awesome, and I’ve very tempted to make a set up for myself.
