Sheffield Homes tried it unsuccessfully, and now Paddington Green Estate screwed up by trying to use a game to bring their constituents into the planning process.
Rather than the enthusiastic engagement for the plan that they were probably hoping for, residents who saw the Monopoly-style board game with Chance and Community cards and little bulldozers for selecting whose homes to demolish came away furious, with at least one resident in tears.
Next time, instead of a game symbolizing corporate greed and bankruptcy, try a party game.
