Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.
Bag-O-Loot, self-published by John Shelley, is a mix of rummy and Bull****, with some Steal the Old Man’s Bundle thrown in for good measure.
Lay down pairs, add to your piles, or steal other players’ piles. Add a fifth card face down to cap a pile, where the face down card is supposed to be the same value as the values in the pile, but you can bluff. Players may opt to challenge you.
Cute, but the designer apparently spent as much time patenting the game as he did designing it.

Well, I spent 2 months on the patent/trademark process, 3 months designing the cards, six months on product testing and refinement, and now into the world of marketing!
All I can say is that each time someone learns this game, they love it, they don’t want to stop playing, and they want to play again regardless if the won or lost. It’s quite addicting.
It’s been on the market for about six months we have sold over 1600 decks with more than 1300 of them just in New Hampshire. Stores that carry it have told me that people who bought it are coming back to buy more to give as gifts. To me that speaks volumes on how fun the game is.
Hope you had a chance to play, not just read the rules… thanks for checking it out!

Update… The third edition is scheduled for release later on this year with new artwork and easier to understand rules! Yay!
I bought your game at a toy store while on vacation. When we opened it to play today, there were no instructions, just the “Reminder Cards”. How does the game begin? How many cards are dealt? could you relay the basic rules. Paid good money for the cards and from the videos it looks like great ful.
