Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.
You know what I’m talking about.
Companies are starting to pump the holiday season into your brain already, trying to get you buying already whether you like it or not.
The question is, “Have you started shopping yet?” No matter what holiday you celebrate this season, there’s usually some kind of gift giving. Why not buy that special someone a new game?
My wife and I have 3 kids, and we’ve already started picking up a few things so we don’t have to buy everything all at once. We’re planning on picking up at least 4 new games for them to play this year.
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.

Shopping for kids already done.
Games as gifts this season:
Magic Labyrinth (6yo)
HALO Interactive (14yo)
Lego Ramses Pyramid (12yo)
Dragonheart (14yo)
Fundomino (Grandparents…really! They like playing the game with the kids and against each other so much we are getting them a copy)
I was looking into Magic Labyrinth this year. That and Chicken Cha Cha Cha, Animal Upon Animal, and Ratatat Cat.
I think my kids are a bit too young for Pyramid, though my oldest son (5 yo) would love putting it together
Yep,
Apples to Apples Junior, now that they can both read it will help.
A couple of other word/educational type games.
We overdosed on Lego games last year so will probably give them a miss this year.
