AEG will be launching this spring Nightfall, a game of horror, with cards representing vampires, werewolves, ghouls, and other creatures of the night. Yes, it’s another deck-building game, but one with several interesting twists.

In addition to those cards placed in the common area at the start of the game, each player drafts two sets of cards for a personal cache. Play is mostly focused on building long chains of cards linked by color. However, a chain begun by one player can be linked to by another. As a chain is resolved, players each other wounds. The one with the least number of wounds is declared the winner. On the other hand, dealing wounds is a risk because wounds make players more enraged, allowing them to make bigger chains.

Another exciting twist with this game is the way AEG will be promoting it. The company is giving away 100 free copies! Every day January 1st through April 10th, AEG will be drawing a name and all you need to do for a chance to win is register online.
