Hasbro says that revenue from 2010 was slightly less than expected, with disappointing December sales. Sales were up, just less than expected. Update: Sorry, sales were actually down slightly. (source)
Meanwhile, according to NPD, video games, counting new physical video and PC games, used games, game rentals, subscriptions, digital full-game downloads, social network games, downloadable content, and mobile game apps, were down AGAIN, about 1%. (source) Physical retail was still the biggest purchase. According to Forbes, video games were down 9%, hardware down 16%, but accessories up 10% – source says that much of the good news is due to Kinect. (source)
