Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.
As we enter a new year, we’d like to know what you guys would like to see more of on Purple Pawn. What do you visit Purple Pawn for? What do you wish we had more/less of?
You can choose as many options as you’d like on this poll, and we’ll be running it until Jan 24th to give you all enough time to respond.
Also feel free to comment below if you think of something that may not be in the poll.
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
I don’t see this option in the poll, but I would like to see more articles like this one:
http://www.purplepawn.com/2010/03/the-convoluted-story-of-iron-wind-metals-ral-partha-and-battletech-miniatures/
I.E. History of franchises, companies and people in the industry.
In addition there was once an article about how miniatures are made. It was also very interesting.
I agree, that was a good article, maybe more behind the scenes with game company articles.
Joining the choir here. One of the nice things about PP is it’s “inside-baseball” sort of perspective. Things like the patent roundup and industry news is something pretty unique among tabletop gaming news sources.
I like all of the inside the industry type of news. I love the Paper Money posdcast for this aspect. I could do without the game related crimes.
I love the criminal roundup and ‘social’ updates, such as the Rooks around the Russian city. The industry news releases are also interesting.
There isn’t much that I dislike; however, I could care less about anything related to typical gambling games (poker, craps, etc…).
Ever since BoardGameNews went on the fritz, I miss their designer diaries and nuts ‘n’ bolts editorials. Maybe this is your chance to swoop in with more of this type of material.
I like all the weird stuff. You know: patents, game crimes, etc. All the other stuff that no one else has.
