First, though, let’s catch up with the current releases…

For season four, Mechtanium Surge Bakugan are made from die cast metal. Core Bakugan in this series include new Dragonoid, Ingram, Elfin, and Percival figures. Mobile Assault Mechtanium Surge Bakugan include Axellor, which stands tall on tank-like tracks, Hurrix, which spins at an amazing speed, and the circle-shaped Raytheus.

Debuting with this group are Mechtogan Bakugan action figures. Each comes with its own activator card that when swiped against the figure’s back causes it to sprout additional wings, claws, or weapons. The first four Mechtogan are called Zenthon, Venexus, Braxion, and Deezall. And then there are the Mechtogan Titans, even bigger action figures with multiple transformations each. Also new, Bakunano are weapons that are not magnetic but transform with the press of a button and can be attached to any core Bakugan, Mechtogan, or Mechtogan Titan.

But even more exciting than metal Bakugan, in the fall, Spin Master is launching Sky Raiders—Bakugan that fly! When rolling on to a gate card, Bakugan in this series are designed to jump over their opponents. Take a look at this video for a demonstration of the prototype:

Then, the 2011 holiday season will see the release of Dragonoid Destroyer, a super-sized action figure that spins, hosts two Sky Raiders that jump off its shoulders, and has card-activated missiles that launch from its arms.
