The new dice games, Zombie Dice and Cthulhu Dice, have been a big hit for Steve Jackson Games. The company’s latest Report to the Stakeholders reveals that these mid-year releases already account for 8.4 percent of sales (that’s about 50,000 units in my estimation). This year, Zombie Dice is set to get updated packaging. Instead of a cardboard dice cup, the game will come in a cloth dice bag emblazoned with a zombie head.

Another product being updated this year is The Awful Green Things From Outer Space, a classic Tom Wham game originally published in Dragon Magazine. Though I already have multiple copies of this game, including the Dragon Magazine version, I can’t wait to get my hands on this next edition. It looks like it’ll finally have the high quality components it deserves.
