Paradigm Concepts, Inc president Henry Lopez has announced that they would be handing out fastplay rules of their upcoming Arcanis: the Roleplaying Game to participating retailers for this year’s Free RPG Day (June 18 2011).

The 2005 ENnie Award winner for Fans’ Choice Best Publisher is also welcoming reviewers to take a first glance of the final game at their ‘Reviewers Table’ at Origins where they would be able to run through the system in a demo during the convention on June 22-27.

Arcanis: the Roleplaying Game is an updated system of the World of the Shattered Empires RPG, set in the 2008 Origins Award winning setting of Arcanis, and is expected to ship in late June after Origins.

The new game would introduce a new skill and combat system (here’s a combat example) as well as a magic system that gives the power of creation to characters at the peril of their mortal forms.
