You’ve heard of fantasy football and fantasy baseball, so why not fantasy chess?

You too can track top Chess player results and organize the players into leagues. It’s been going on since at least 2003; unfortunately, that site is old, and I don’t know if they’re still doing it.

But don’t despair. You can get in on a new fantasy chess tournament organized by the St Louis Chess Club and Scholastic Center, to coordinate with 2011 US championships that they will be hosting.
