Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.
Ergo, designed by Closet Nerd Games and published by Catalyst Game Labs [1], is a card game of mathematical proofs.
The cards consist of postulates (A, B, C, and D) and logical operations (AND, OR, NOT, …) as well as some utility cards thrown in for good measure. On your turn you can add cards to the rows of proofs, as long as all remaining sentences are still logical and non contradictory. Each player represents one of the postulates, and hopes to be and remain “proven” when the round ends.
If none of that makes any sense to you, you can read the rules [PDF]. This game might be a good introduction to basic logic skills.
[1] Closet Nerd Games is a Sandstorm Studio company, whose relationship to Catalyst Game Labs is convoluted.
