Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.
Go With the Flow from sggc Arctic Fox, designed by Jemery Galilee, is a treasure looting game. Each player starts on his own island and must sail to the treasure wreck and retrieve the treasure. All well and good, except that you only have rafts, each raft can only hold two things: pirates, treasures, or one of each, and the rafts drift around the ocean currents in capricious, undeterminable ways unless you pay (pay?) for to move differently.
Yeah, I don’t get the part about paying to change the raft direction, nor why the currents don’t stay the same once they’ve been mapped out. The game appears to be more about fighting with the game elements than with the other players (though that can happen) but it looks simple enough and light. And hey, pirates.

This reminds me of Looney Labs wooden nickel game “Qturn”
