LEGO Heroica: Dungeon Crawl LEGO Style

Heroica is the setting for an entire series of new fantasy-themed games coming this year from LEGO, designed by Bastiaan Brederode and Cephas Howard. The first games are:

• Draida Bay – water themed adventure
• Fortaan – castle adventure
• Nathuz – cave adventure
• Waldurk – forest adventure

All games can be combined to make one big fat adventure.

Lest you think LEGO is resting on its laurels creatively, they have a number of other unrelated board games out this year, too:

• Frog Rush – a dice rolling race game
• Sunblock – a beach race game about moving umbrellas and beach chairs
• Ramses Return – A followup to Knizia’s LEGO Ramses Pyramid, also by Knizia
• Banana Balance – a dexterity game of placing bananas on a tree or taking monkeys
