The Shanghai Shentong Metro Group is distributing a free board game about safety on the Shanghai Metro. The game board is an abstract map of line 2 (East Xujing to Pudong International Airport). You play a role: a passenger, such as a student, police, or foreigner, each with its own special rules.
Your object is to get to the airport first and safely. Violating subway rules – jumping the gate or pulling the emergency handle – might set you back.
They’re planning to make the game into a real published product, as well as an online version.
