If Hasbro’s[1] new Ikusa board game seems familiar, it’s because it’s a reprint of the classic Samurai Swords, one of the original games in the Milton Bradley’s 1980s Gamemaster series. Actually, you may know the game by its original name: Shogun.

The rules are the same, but the components have been “upgraded”, as has the artwork. The little plastic swords from the original are gone, however, replaced by cardboard tokens.
