Scrambled States, a 2002 game designed by Mary Doherty Ellroy (Gamebird) and published by Gamewright, was inspired by the book The Scrambled States of America by Laurie Keller.

Each player lays out five cards, each corresponding to a US state. A criteria is announced (e.g. a state with more than ten letters in the name) and the first player to slap a matching state wins the round.

Cute personified state pictures round out the package.
