Settlers of Catan: The Climate Scenario is a variant for Settlers of Catan that introduces oil development and all that goes along with it: faster and better growth, natural disasters.

The variant is by Ty Hansen and Eric Assadourian. 6o people played the game one  evening at the Goethe-Institut in Washington, D.C.  The pair are now working on getting the game made into an official published expansion.
