Writer’s Dice, a creation of Daniel Solis, are a set of 6 sided dice that have words on them along with the standard pips. The words: but, so, and, or, as, and if are engraved in bold letters on each face with the pips being displayed under them.

Solis doesn’t have a specific use for the dice in mind, but suggests they can be used anywhere from writing a novel, playing a role playing game, or just as novel gifts.

The dice, while certainly a novelty, will also have some use in Solis’s games Happy Birthday, Robot! and Do: Pilgrims of the Flying Temple.

The dice are currently available for preorder through a Kickstarter project, which has already been fully funded.
