Geek Chic announced this week the extension of their already impressive line of gamer-friendly furniture with four new offerings. Each is available in walnut, maple, or cherry.
The League is a comic book storage cabinet with card catalog hardware to keep the collection looking good and organized.
The Curator is a miniatures display case with a glass door, adjustable shelves, and available lighting.
The Keep is a hutch-and-bureau set with four large drawers and varied-level shelving.
And The Locus is a table housing a multi-touch computer display surface. Developed jointly with Mesa Mundi, The Locus in available in 40 inch and 60 inch screen versions and is packaged with d20Pro software to create a Dungeons & Dragons tabletop.

The furniture looks really great. I especially love the Curator. It’s a great cabinet for all those knick-knacks you’ve been saving up.
I love Geek Chic furniture and would be thrilled to have any of their offerings in my home. Only two things have prevented me from ordering so far:
1. The 5-8 month wait time.
2. The price. Ouch.
One or the other would be tolerable, but together it’s a double-whammy of “I think I’ll keep looking.” $12,000 for a gaming table I *might* see delivered by next year is just too much to ask. At that rate, I could hire a local finish carpenter, give them custom specs and have them done in a matter of weeks.
