Prompted by a declining market, Hero Games is scaling back to one employee and limited releases, according to a statement by the remaining General Manager, Jason Walters. Darren Watts and Steve Long are leaving the company, though they may continue to produce Hero System games under license. One more new book is scheduled for publication. Book of the Empress is complete but the company is considering Kickstarter to fund a print run.
