The reality of the holidays has hit Kickstarter boardgame projects. Two projects successfully funded this week for a total of $23,473, less than 1/10 of previous weeks and only 3 new projects were added. In addition, the amount of funding for all game projects appears to have slowed significantly. 7 games ending this coming week have already made it past their funding goals but there are still 8 that end this week that are looking for some love to reach their goals.

We’ll see if anyone is in a giving mood after the past week of holidays. We wish the project owners best of luck as they end out this record year of Kickstarter funding for boardgames.
