2011 seemed to have a new top 10 all-time entry every other week. Here is a list of the top 25 funding board game related projects in 2011.
First, a chart to show the top 10.
If you see a mistake in my list, don’t hesitate to let me know. I left out Far West in a previous list and helpful comments from the game’s creator and supporters quickly helped me fix my error.

What I think is telling is that there are only two RPGs on this list, and one of those was a very “high concept” one (Far West). A lot of RPG small publishers are turning to Kickstarter, but I think they may over-estimate just how well it will work for that type of game.
I wonder how difficult it would be to put together a list of game kickstarter campaigns that made or did not make funding, broken down by type? (RPG, board game, card game, dice.)
