Like so many others these days, The United States Playing Card Company is launching a series of mobile-app-integrated products. Special decks of Jacked Up! Bicycle Playing Cards will work with free iPhone and Android apps “twisting and spinning the rules” of Hearts, War, and Solitaire “with every hand.”

I’m confused. War and Solitaire weren’t mindless enough? And huh, the digital application interacts with players by way of a Joker character whose name is Jack?
