These past two weeks 14 projects ended their funding with 11 successfully hitting their funding goals. The total raised over the past two weeks comes to $175,391. This brings the total for 2012 to $524,475. Last year, in 2011 at this same period the funding total was $48,203. 2012 is funding at more than 10x the amount as last year. If this were to continue, which it won’t, but if it did, we would see 2012 fund $20 million in board games. It isn’t going to happen. My estimations are that board games and related projects will come in around $6 million, a 3x increase over last year.

18 new projects were added over the past two weeks. Some have already reached their funding goal. One that caught my eye has been The Presidential Game. Normally I would have said this wasn’t going to reach their funding level, but with 6 days to go, they have raised over $30k and are on track to make their goal.
