I usually play a straight water deck with blastoise or samurott out front.
Me and my kids love dragon type pokemons. If we only had dragonite, that would be our main pokemon in our deck
i love pikachu, simply because its the main characters best pal :)
I guess I would belong in the 3rd camp, I don’t play myself, so I don’t have a favourite deck, I don’t want to get into it personally, so I don’t have a favourite Pokemon, but I would like to get it for my son.
His cousin brought over a couple of decks recently and they really enjoyed playing, but I’ve not known where to start with the Pokemon juggernaut!! So if I have to enter a favourite Pokemon for my eligibility for the contest, I guess I’d say Pikachu(??)

My son Rylan likes the Water deck!
I play Blastoise-Black Kyurem because that’s the deck that I used to finish 3rd at the Pokemon World Championship in 2013. Although those tropical beaches are pretty pricey, the deck has never failed me and is nothing but a blast to play even in a field full of Virizion-Genesect decks that have a type advantage against my water pokemon. Once you get that Blastoise on the field and start Ballista’ing with Black Kyurem, it’s all over!
I play with either fire/psychic or water/psychic with deyoxys EX or Gollet as my best pokemon. I use psychic as a ‘Base Deck’ then add on fire, water, electric ect as I feel that psychic is the most powerful and effective type.
Chesspin FTW! Grass is the best
One of my favorite decks to play nowadays is a Round deck. Revolves around Meloetta-EX and Seismitoad, with Seismitoad being the main attacker. I play this for fun and because it’s surprisingly powerful. For serious games, though, I go with a Darkrai/Garbodor build.
My favorite pokemon is rayquaza. I like dragon pokemon.
I have always loved Ratata. He was the first Pokemon I ever caught, and will always be my favorite.
That being said, the only deck I have right now is the Bodyguard deck from the fossil set. My wife has the other and we’re immensely enjoying playing the game the right way, for once. :-D
I am actually looking to get into it. My cousin is a big player and he wants me to get on board. These packs could be a huge help! My favorite Pokemon is Charizard. It has always been my favorite. I love the fire Pokemon!
Squirtle has to be my favorite Pokémon. Ever since I chose him as a starter, he’s been my favorite. Not only is Blastoise awesome, but Squirtile is just darn cute. :P
I just love using a Fire deck (burn all the things!) but I have better personal results with a Water deck.
I always enjoy Bulbasar because I had my Gall Bladder out and my kids would point to my scar and say “I choose you, Bladder-Scar”

I think I would want a fairy deck because I want to see what the style is of the new type. Oh and my favorite pokemon of all time is Gengar. I love each one of its evolution forms (well except Mega evolution Gengar; it’s too silly looking) each of the designs stand really well on their own and meld perfectly together. Plus usually the second evolution kinda seems like that dorky teenager phase, but haunter is almost as bad ass as Gengar, which I absolutely love. Plus I love it’s mischevious attitude, and the cashire cat like smile. Oh, plus when in battle it’s like a freaking tank, and the invulnerability to physical attacks is pretty dang useful. Plus, if you think about owning one in real life, if pokemon were real of course, it would be a super inexpensive pokemon to have. It’s a ghost so it doesn’t eat, so you could buy all the expensive stat improvement stuff and what not instead of blowing money on like feeding your gainormous dragonite which would probly require 50 kilos of food a week. Seriously, where you could go wrong with Gengar?
My son and I have been playing recently. He is running a Yveltal/Darkrai deck and I’ve been playing around with a Flareon/Leafeon deck.

I’ve never played, but my daughter is the right age to pick it up now. Favorite Pokemon? My nephew really liked Charizard, so we’ll go with that!
I enjoy a simple water deck because I really like playing with Piplup and, eventually, Empoleon.
My son started getting into the show and I’d love to grab these cards for him. He’s 8 and an emerging gamer.
I have no idea what kind of deck. I stopped playing a long time ago, and I have always wanted to get back into it.
My current favorite is a baby Xerneas – Aromatisse fairy deck. My kids love the new Yveltal EX — would love to pull one out of this booster box if we win!
I have a water/psychic deck, it’s main components comprised of Eevee’s evolving to Vaporeon or Espeon and Magicarp/Gyarados. The deck is more water then psychic, but the other psychic cards that are in it are only one evolution, and are powerful cards. Like Mewtwo and Giratina.
I’m getting back into it after not playing for a while, but I must say my favorite Pokemon is Blastoise.
I’d have to go with Pikachu just because it is the iconic Pokemon. Beyond that I love Squirtle because it is a hilarious name attached to a nice character design.
I love ice decks as ice type is my favourite type and they excel in attacks!
I really like a Team plasma deck with Deoxys and a few other EX pokemon.
I’m not a player, but have went to the recent XY prerelease and I’m interested in starting the actual game.
As for my favorite Pokemon it would have to be the classic Arcanine. Mainly because I’ve always loved fire types and dogs are my absolute favorite type of animals. When I was younger every time I would see Arcanine make an appearance on the show it often mystified me because of how majestic it looked. It’s also well known for its loyalty and strong demeanor.
Im testing a grass/psy deck right now might change it to dark/psy if the grass combo doesn’t work. lots trial and error….

I just got back into these, but I haven’t acquired enough cards to build any good decks–so right now I have been playing the Frost Ray theme deck against other theme decks. :) Going to mess with the Xerneas fairy deck soon!
My fav deck is the Aegislash + frogadier deck I just made. Aegislash switches out and king shields to prevent damage, while frogadier sends its attacks from the bench.
Love my plasma deck!
Favorite deck: Dragonite+Garboder. I like to play control in other card games and this deck is the perfect fit for me.

I started to enjoy a Round deck with Exploud lately. But my favorite pokemon is definitely Venusaur.
My main deck is a straight water deck. I use blastoise for his ability and my main hitters are suicune and a kyurem. One of my favorite pokemon is Charzard though, he has been my favorite since the beginning.
Tool Drop deck for me! Love dat Trubbish!
My favorite deck was my Genesect/Virizion deck. It’s so destructive very early in the game and is relatively easy to use.
Ny favorite Pokemon is Raichu and he has been for over 12 years. He’s the cutest Pokemon in my opinion and can hold his own in battle too. When Ash took on Lt. Surge, I actually cheered for Surge.
My favorite pokemon would be cyndaquil.Cyndaquil is my favorite pokemon because I first picked him in silver and he’s been with me throughout the whole region,Other reasons for picking cyndaquil was because he was a fire type and I pretty much thought fire types were cool :P
I love playing a Mewtwo EX/Gardevior deck
It’s not the best competitively but it’s fun to play with friends!
I use mostly a water and colorless deck with at least one spoink. Spoink, Mudkip, and Eevee are my favorite Pokemon. We’ve been organizing a tcg club and would love to give some of these to the new players.

I recently have built a Dark deck basing my main hitter off of Zoroark’s Brutal Bash or Dark Rush attacks. This along with his basic form Zorua being able to get him out instantly with 1 energy and Darkrai sitting on a full bench of Dark Pokemon, has been a really fun deck to play with. I also have a few basic Yveltal in there. The only thing that would make my deck more fun is Yveltal EX. His first attack is just like Mewtwo but with Dark Pokemon. I can’t wait to get him! My next mission is to build a Fairy deck.
It’s so hard to pick a favorite but I really love Fennekin, Ninetales and also the Legendary Xerneas is pretty awesome too!
I don’t have any competitive, or for that matter, modern decks, but my old favorite was an ex-era grass deck staring paras and parasect for basics and energy, with a big breloom up front. My favorite pokemon is Malamar.
I’ve only ever ran fire and psychic decks, but I usually go for status decks when possible.
I play in a local league. So I have a few up to date decks that I play with but I also have a original base set deck that I use to play with a few people that also have original decks from 1997. But it is a electric and basic deck. The goal is to get out zapdos as soon as possible for the heavy hits but if he falls I have a few electrobuzz in the deck that help out also. And if they fail or I don’t pull the cards I need I have a good game and take the lose. Because no matter what when you are playing with original cards you are always winning.
My favorite theme deck would have to be a Psychic theme based off of the new Mewtwo EX and its powerful X-Ball attack – the attack uses only two energy (so a simple double energy card would suffice) – and it involves 20X all energy cards attached to both active Pokemon.
My favorite Pokemon, however, is Pikachu – I am an avid Pikachu TCG collector, and have over 30+ different varieties of this Pokemon.
I play pretty basic Darkrai. I have for like a year. I switch in and out techs like most people, but I love this deck. So solid and so consistent. I think it will always be competitive as long as it is in rotation.

It’s probably using a Blastoise/Keldeo/Mewtwo deck, because when I had got back into the game in 2013, my first pack was a Boundaries Crossed White Kyurem pack, and my rare was a full art Keldeo EX. When I saw it, I didn’t know much about it, but I knew it was worth something. I spent the next couple of days researching and trying to understand the meta game when I saw that Keldeo EX was in one of the most strongest decks out in the season. I eventually got the hang of it and built the deck, added a couple things here and there, and eventually built something that I am comfortable playing with. (Still missing the beaches though.) I doubt I’m any good, but I’m having fun with it.
I’ve not really been playing a lot of competitive play, but at my local card shop I’ve played with some decks by others. My favorite really was RayEels and ReshiBoar when they were still playable.
Also I’ve once built a Rouge deck with Zoroark and Hydreigon, which worked pretty okay at the time.

I love playing with my fire/psychic deck. It’s a little more heavy on the psychic side with my FA Mew EX and HA Mewtwo EX, but I just got a Victini that I’m gonna work in to power up my pokes
Originally I was going to say that my favorite Pokémon was Gengar. I mean why not? Everyone loves Gengar for obvious reasons. It’s design is cool, it’s powerful, it was one of the original 151, and many other reasons beyond those. But then I began to think, what pokémon’s existence am I most thankful for and made me the happiest when I discovered it? What pokémon has been my bro and has been on my team ever since it was introduced? These distinctions would have to go to Gliscor. I remember the first time I saw a Gligar all the way back in Crystal. I thought it was awesome. It was this little scorpion-bat thing that’s typing and design was unique among all the other pokemon I had ever seen. Sadly Gliscor wasn’t as great as thought it was and it didn’t have the evolution I thought it deserved. Over time i lost interest in the little scorpion-bat oddball as the next generation of games began to come out. By the time 4th gen was starting to come around I saw that older Pokémon were getting evolutions and the last pokemon I thought would get one received a blessing from GameFreak. My bro’s full potential was now realized and I couldn’t have been happier. He was the powerhouse I knew he deserved to be and has been a staple on my team ever since I was first able to get him to evolve. This response was a lot longer than I thought it was going to be, but yeah, my favorite porkyman is definitely Gliscor.
Gengar has always been my favorite, but with X/Y Aegislash is quickly climbing the ranks with his stance change ability.
lately I’ve been running a tool drop trubbish deck. Its not the best but it is tons of fun to use.

I really like my R.E.D. Deck (Rayquaza, Emboar, Delphox). I’ve always played raindance type decks, and having the option to make one with an awesome dragon type pokemon is really sweet. Plus the idea of a dancing Emboar amuses me.

I love to play a Melo/Sies Round deck. It’s not the best in the format, but it’s cheap, and really fun to play. Especially once you get 4-5 Round pokemon on the field

Mewtwo, he was the dominant Pokemon when I was growing up with the original 151.

I know that this is a pretty popular deck that is played, by my favorite deck to play is Darkrai. His Dark Cloak ability is just so amazing and Night Spear with Dark Claw just burns through actives and benches. Even though this is such a strong deck right now, the actual reason that I play Darkrai is because how he is portrayed in The Rise of Darkrai movie, one of my favorites. His portrayal as a dark knight like character really confused me at first, but as I reflected on the film, I really began to understand that Darkrai truly embodies the idea that we are not simply what we look like to others, but it is our actions that define us. These value based messages keep me loving the Pokemon series. However, it is the love and passion that this community shows this game that really keeps me playing, even after all of these years. I guess most of this is kind of off the topic at hand, but it was something I felt compelled to say. Thank you for taking the time to read this. That box of cards is going to make a Pokemon fan really happy.
I’m not currently a player, but i’d love to get into it! With school it’s going to be difficult to find time to work and make money to buy cards and get into it, I’d really appreciate winning this. My Favorite pokemon is Zangoose, He’s so quick and agile that he can blast his foes away with slash and not have to think twice about it. His Majestic stature makes me feel comforted when i send him out first. I know that with Zangoose as my frontline he wont let me down. Zangoose is my Hero.

With the new set I’ve really been enjoying an aggressive Darkrai Yvetal build! I also still really love my Virizion Genesect deck.

I have loved pokemon from the day I picked up my red version. The tcg was no different, after coming back to the game, ive loved my teme playing, really wouldn’t mind seeing more of my favorite new pokemon as cards. the essence of life and death in cards. nothing wrong with that.
My favorite Pokemon in the TCG is Virizion. It’s my favorite because it was the first shiny I pulled since I started collecting little over a year ago.
My favorite pokémon is propably Rayquaza. The gen 3 games were where I really got into pokémon and finding Rayquaza was just such an amazing feeling for me as a child. I still love pretty much everything about it, it’s just marvelous too look at.

Darkrai/Garbodor by far. Even if it loses, it always puts pressure on and fights to the end. It’s a reliable deck.

My favorite deck has always been Darkrai. Night Spear is just the most consistent attack in the game and can win any situation by just loading up Darkrais and going full steam ahead. With the new XY cards, he gets even more support and makes the deck even more fun. I won’t stop playing it until he gets rotated out!
Inferno fandango emboar + Rayquaza EX is always fun. I love discard pile shenanigans.
Psychic/Steel with Mew!
My favorite pokémon is Charizard for obvious reasons.
My favorite deck right now uses Honchkrow, Red Card, and Hooligans Jim & Cas to take away an opponent’s hand!
I got some good pulls from the XY pre-release, plus a Xerneas theme deck, so I decided to run a fairy deck. It’s decent, but it could use some work. I’m thinking of adding LugiaEX and some other Team Plasma cards to make it stronger.
Current favorite deck is Lugia/deoxys, very quick very aggressive and very fun!
I like to play dark decks with the last one I played being the sneasel/darkrai deck that everyone used to use
My favorite for a while has been Hydreigon/Darkrai – I love the freedom to move energy, retreat for free, and hit back for some big numbers.
My favorite deck is by far Empire (Empoleon/Dusknoir), it requires a lot of thinking but it really is grateful when you win against a top tiers deck !!!
Psychic Type Tool Drop!!! So much fun to play
I love playing my Plasma Basics deck. So much raw power when Kyurem is up front with multiple Deoxys EX on the bench!
My favorite deck is a crobat/Giritina deck. It was the deck that got me into the pokemon tcg and is what taught me the basics of the game.
My favorite deck is definitely my Blastoise/Keldeo/Greninja deck. It’s a blast to Water Shuriken everything on the opponent’s field and then slam them for big numbers with Keldeo. Works really well too!

I enjoy playing aggressive decks. They seem more straightforward to me, and it just fits my style of play. Recently, I’ve enjoyed playing the Plasma Kyurem deck that uses Deoxys to power connect and make attacks stronger. I really like water type pokemon in general, and the kyurem pokemon is really cool.
So far my deck is still TDK. absol is even better this set along with thundurus EX

Tyranitar has been my favorite since second gen (also my favorite gen).
Fire or Psychic decks are my favorite to play!
I like using control decks or heavy hitting basics. I like Trevenant and Yveltal in this set. They have both been really strong in play testing. Winning this booster box giveaway can help me build the actual decks.
i dont really have any deck that i primarily use, i like to make random decks like plasma absol/hydreigon, and really any variation on a blastoise/keldeo my favorite of those being blastoise/wailord
I used to play a Keldeo EX/Blastoise deck… until I got three Squirtle prized in a game. -_-
So I decided to change to Virgen, which I play today. I actually like this deck a lot, it’s vivid, easy to play though there are strategic choices to make in some match-ups. It has a lot of potential especially with Muscle Band.
Although I love Virgen, I would like to build a Darkrai/Yveltal deck, and a Fairy one, because well, I’m a girl and pink is obvious for girls. Plus let’s be honest, the fairy cards are the prettiest in this new set. =)
PS : my favorite Pokémon, along with the Eevolutions, is Butterfly, I used to run all the first Pokémon games with it and it was awesome !

I play a blastoise deck with mewtwo ex because I can deluge tons of water energy to it and have an x-ball attack that deals a massive amount of damage if everything works out :)
Just getting back into pokemon cards again and I made a decent Water/Grass deck with Shaymin Ex and Greninja being the leads.

I usually use a Darkrai variant, right now it’s Darkrai/Garbodor/Yveltal. Sometimes I run Yeti, Straight Darkrai, or Darkrai/Hydreigon.

I don’t play but I’m an avid collector. My favorite Pokemon is Blastoise and I’m just itching to get those cards in the yx set.
I really wanted to get into PTCG, but none of my friends play it!
If I could pick, though, I go with a fatal Poison/Psychic deck, with Status Problems and massive damage through transferring damage counters from me to the opponent.
I’ve been using a modified Red Genesect deck made from two of the Red Genesect sets.
Blastoise. I spent so much time with him as a kid it felt like he became a friend as crazy as that may sound. Even now getting back into Pokemon it’s only fun when I have him in my party.
My favorite deck is Darkrai. Very powerful and versatile.
My favorite deck is a deck is one I use for play at my league, which is a Lucario Lv.X deck designed to take advantage of the stance ability. May not be legal for NXD-on format, but it’s still a blast to play with.
As for new stuff. I’d like to build something with Aegislash or the Darkrai/Yveltal EX decks. Those seem fairly enjoyable to play. Especially Aegislash, because of it’s interesting mechanics.
My favorite Pokemon is Lucario. Lucario reminds me of a loyal dog, I guess that’s the reason why he resonates with so many fans.
My favorite deck to play is Big Basics, simple, effective, and loads of fun!

I am currently making a skarmory/chandelure deck.
I first played with Eels, which was my favorite, the zek/eels one to be specific. Once that go rotated, I went with a Plasma Kyurem deck, which is now a mix Lugia/Kyurem. I has won be 2/3 places in battle roads! Need to keep grinding for them championship points, kind of hard though, since I do not have a job or money to get more new cards
Luxray is my favourite, mostly because lions/lynxes are so awesome, and he can see through walls. From what I’ve seen his cards have never been massively powerful. Oh well. Thanks for the chance to get started!
Favorite Pokemon? Chikorita because, when I was a child he would always make me happy. if I ever cried my mother would always give my Chikorita plush to hold so, that I would calm down. Pokemon has always been a wonderful thing in my life.
My favorite deck is Ray-Eels. Even though its not in rotation atm (yay for the new 2015 format coming out). I just love having a consistent form of acceleration and being practically immune to hammers which I hate with a passion.
My favorite in format deck is the deck I use right now; Virizion/Genesect/Palkia. It’s really fun and Palkia catches people off guard and is arguable the decks MVP as healing for 40 damage while swinging for 90 (with Deoxys on the bench) or 100 (with muscle band) can really put a lot of pressure on your opponent.
My favourite deck is my latest one – a water type deck I call King-Ninja!
I’m currently playing a ‘Round’ deck as I gave my daughter most of my cards to complete her deck. We’re looking forward to the XY set and how that changes up the game!
Tornados (plasma)/ polygon deck. With plasma umbrellas and glaceons as support.
I like running a Crobat/Virbank/Lazers deck. More poison more fun!
My last two decks were Genesect/Virizion and Rayeels, and I enjoyed playing both. Latias is my favorite pokemon though!

I play a weak deck with Plasma Durant and Staraptor. I am trying to make a blastoise ex\keldeo ex deck. I need this. Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed this. Not to mention I have many people to impact. I have friends who are all trying to make decks. Their parents won’t help them much, so It is up to me to help them. Please choose me, because this will make many people happy :-) .

My favorite Pokemon is Nidoking. He is just so awesome with his huge movepool. For TCG, I usually run a normal deck.
My all-time favorite Pokémon TCG deck would have to be darkrai/garbodor, simply because garbodor’s ability is annoying to most decks since nearly all of them require abilities. Darkrai is also a great attacker, and alongside it is its sidekick sableye who can help sweep those energies off of your opponent, turn after turn with its junk hunt attack. I have beaten nearly every single tier 1 deck with it, except for trevenant/accelgor, which as we all know can be a huge pain. I guess that’s all I have to say about my favorite deck.

My favorite pokemon duo is Oshawott and Piplup! :) Now that XY is out, the deck I’m ejoying the most is DelRayBoar. Delphox and Emboar together dominate!
I don’t often play but when I do it’s for fun, I enjoy a rainbow deck to play the eeveelutions. Which happens to be my favorite line of pokemon. I love Eevee and I’d have to say my favorite of the line is Vaporeon. I’ve had to limit my buying of cards because of bills :( but I try to keep up!
I love lock decks of any kind: Trainer lock, paralysis lock, hand lock. It’s just so much fun to play a game off the beaten track and on your own terms.
Lucario is my favourite pokemon. Having gotten really into the game during the Diamond and Pearl generation, it suits well. I have also seen Lucario and the Mystery of Mew when I was younger and that’s what really hit me to like Lucario the most as a Pokemon. I hope they make a Mega Evolution Lucario TCG card!
Having played for about a year, I’m still in love with Empoleon lists. I love the infinite draw combo with Exeggcute, and the counter play that is given to the opponent by their limiting the bench to lower your damage output. It rewards both players for playing the board, and manipulating a number of variables to succeed.
I have 3 decks that I alternate playing with: virizion/genesect, plasma, and darkrai.
I would love to get this box and maybe pull some yveltals. :)
My favorite pokemon is Squirtle, and because of that I really enjoy decks that allow me to use Squirtle. Deluge blastoise is an amazing card and I love the look of my opponent when I rare candy him into play on turn 2!

I really enjoy my Rounds deck. Having an EX on the bench doing nothing while your other Pokemon are doing 180 damage for 2 colorless is pretty sweet.
I love collecting the TCG but I don’t play/compete. My favorite pokemon is Gyarados ever since Pokemon Red.
My favorite deck would probably be TDK or Genesect Virizion. They are powerful tier one decks and I enjoy using them. I have also grown an interest to Darkrai Yveltal!

My favorite pokemon is Latios!
I do not play competetive yet, so I only play with friends. I like to play with pokemons I like or decks that focus on one type. I play water and fire decks alot. And my favorite pokemon is Charizard and Gengar.
Eevee is my favourite Pokemon! Why? Because it can evolve into a choice of 8 different Pokemon, all different types and all amazing Pokemon. You can’t beat that. Eevee is #1. :)
I’m a fan of condition-heavy decks, and from the latest one I played, Beedrill (from Plasma Freeze) is my favorite : for just one energy, you have 60 damage, poison and confused.
Personally I like darkrai decks but obviously the bdif is heatmor. Other than that my favourite Pokemon has got to be the one and only best Pokemon in the game is magikarp (or maybe it’s blaziken )
My favorite pokemon is Torkoal because he is just so awesome and he’s a turtle that is a fire type.
Favorite Pokemon is Charizard because i have been a fan since 1st gen and hes been the best since then.
My favorite card is probably Delphox.

Blastoise deck for me
I just started playing recently, a friend and I went to walmart at like 1:30 AM and we bought the $40 XY boxes that came with 8 boosters and 45 energy. I also grabbed a plasma blast genesect theme deck – and it ROCKS! The synergy between the cards is really cool, and I haven’t gotten enough cards to mess around with it too much yet but it’s definitely my favorite deck that I’ve played with so far. I stayed up until 9am the next day playing haha!
I really like my Gardevoir so my favourite deck is the psychic lock deck used by Jason Klaczynski in the 2008 world championship, it has inspired me to build a deck around that and my other favourite pokemon Darkrai using the Gardevoir and gardevoir level x from secret wonders, the sleep hole darkrai from one of the dp sets (I can’t remember which) and the darkrai ex that I pulled from my first ever legendary treasures pack.
I know its not a good idea for competing, but I personally enjoy using fire based decks. I have been toying around with celebi and charizard and it works sometimes. I make these decks for fun and if they are successful I experiment with other EX’s to add the competitive punch decks need in the current metagame.
Honestly, I just play with a Team Plasma deck that I’ve thrown together. I just recently got into the TCG (competitively anyway), so I don’t have that much to work from.
I’ve recently gotten into the TCG and have only played online. I recently went out and bought the new resilient life deck and that’s all I really have, and it is fun when I play the computer online. Though I do get crushed every time I try to play a match with random people haha!
The deck I use Online and in Tournaments is one I have had since last year’s Battle Roads, Blastoise/Keldeo/Black Kyurem. It works out because Blastoise is and has been my favorite Pokémon since I first played Blue Version all those years ago.
I run a Darkrai/Garbodor deck but I am thinking of switching to a fairy deck *Still a little unsure I am kind of attached to my Darkrai ex!

steering away from the traditional archetype decks, one of my fav troll decks is Weavile with Villify from Plasma Freeze! Super fun to play if you can execute it, also he looks pretty bad ass :P
I’m getting back into Pokemon for the first time since 1st generation, and I am really excited about what I’m seeing. So I don’t know the decks, but my favorite Pokemon has always been Ninetales. It wasn’t a particularly powerful card, I just always found it beautiful. It’s tie in to Japanese lore, it’s aura of honor and evil together… definitely my favorite card.
My 8 year old just started playing and he says Vulpix is his favorite!

I play with a psychic / fire deck made up of powerful base pokemon so I don’t have to wait for stage 1 and stage 2 cards. I use usually 4 or 5 ex cards and all my trainer cards are for getting energy cards.
I started last year with a zoroark beat down, since then it’s evolved into a more standard darkrai deck, but with the new set I’m trying to incoporate yveltal and a few more cards in it!
Heatmor with 4x Heatmor, 4x Ether, and 52 Fire Energy is so much fun to play I love it

Personally, I would absolutely LOVE to see a deck based off of Donphan Prime, Eternal Radiance Gardevoir, and a bunch of float stones. While spamming earthquake and hitting my own bench, Gardevoir just gets that much better. Only problem is, that would be a huge pain to set up and by the time it is set up, it might be too late. But hey, a guy can dream.
Personally playing wise, I love running my round deck. It also takes some setting up, but it so fun and Meloetta looks so majestic sitting on my bench. I love the look in my opponents eyes wen I say, “I’ll use Round for 150 damage.” It feels good when it gets set up and it’s hard to stop because of Seismitoad’s high HP and brute force coming from the Round attack. It’s not the best deck by any means, but I think it is the most fun to use and the most rewarding to win with.
I absolutely love playing anything with Virizion EX.
My favorite pokemon is definitely Gardevoir though.

I really can’t afford to play the TCG, but my favourite deck was a virizion EX and regular genesect deck I made at the plasma freeze pre-release in dublin. But as pokemon go, my favourite is either espurr or goomy. Espurr because he’s cute in pokemon amie, or goomy because he was my first masuda method shiny.
My daughter, Jadyn, runs a straight fairy deck with the release of the new aromatisse/xerneas set, with a few jiggly’s and wigglys thrown in there for a good ol’ song and dance!
I love the TCG, but my favourite decks are the all out offensive fun ones, especially love genesect EX with its ace spec! Awesome damage!
My favorite pokemon is Heracross because Bugs are the best. I play a lot of decks but right now I’m playing Delphox/Emboar/Rayquaza.

My favorite Pokemon is Leafeon. Ever since I received a Leafeon Pokemon card from McDonald’s, I have a different feeling towards Leafeon than the other Pokemon. When I got the Leafeon Lv. X card, I would always use it. In the Pokemon games, I would have Leafeons everywhere. In my official Pokemon Tournament team, I have my Natural Shiny Leafeon in front. Without him, I wouldn’t have a team… I have Leafeon cards, Leafeon plush!, Leafeon beads, ect. That is my history with me and Leafeon!!
I like all kinds of Blastoise with deluge-type abilities, been using them since the base set :)
Water acceleration for the win!
My favorite deck to play is a well-rounded water deck. Using Blastoise’s unlimited water ability, I stack my good water pokemon and wreak havoc. My friend’s and I are always trying to improve our decks and water is ideal in my case because of the great EX’s, the energy stacking, and the overall style and flow of the card combinations available to you.
My daughter’s favorite is the newest fairy / Kalos deck. I personally like playing with a water-centric deck.
