Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.
Devious Weasel Games will be releasing Shadows of Malice at booth 2739 of the Entrepreneur’s Alley at Gen Con this year. The game is a co-op fantasy game were players are working together to unseal Wells of Light to prevent a powerful demon from gaining a physical form and taking over the realm. Players must make their way through strongholds, defeat the guardians, and reveal the Wells. If the Shadow uncovers any Well, the game is lost.
It sounds pretty awesome from the brief write up over at Devious Weasel’s page. I recommend heading over there and checking it out.

This has been super high on my must check out agenda at Gencon!
I play tested the game at Gen Con in 2013 when it was just being thought up. I loved it so much I volunteered to help sell the game at the booth in Gen Con 2014. It was really awesome to see how much play tester input made a difference and enhanced the game over the next year — something that really made me feel like I was a part of helping make the game, not just helping to get it sold.
I’m very pleased to say it did well at, and hope that this means more big things from Devious Weasel Games in the future! The game is now being sold at deviousweasel.com and I think game stores are actually going to be selling it soon too!
Street date for retailers looks to be Labor Day.
