The founders of Patch Products have sold the company to private equity firm, Topspin Partners. Patch headquarters will stay in Beloit, Wisconsin and Bob Wann will remain as CEO.
Patch has been a family-owned business since its founding by brothers Fran and Bryce Patch in 1985. The company publishes The Game of Things, Buzzword, and 5 Second Rule; distributes Perplexus mazes; makes the Lauri brand crepe-rubber puzzles; and recently took over manufacturing and sales of Stratego in the United States.
Wann indicated that Topspin’s financial resources will be used to further grow the company.
