A new roleplaying game based on Robert E. Howard’s Conan stories is being produced by Modiphius Entertainment. The company announced Monday its plans to release the first core rule book, Robert E. Howard’s Conan: Adventures In An Age Undreamed Of, in the fall. Modiphius plans a summer Kickstarter project to finance a range of supplements, campaigns, and accessories.
Other Conan RPGs have been published in the past, most recently by Mongoose Publishing. This one will employ the 2d20 game system, which Modiphius developed for the Mutant Chronicles game.
Modiphius is also working with other Conan licensees, Monolith Board Games and Funcom, on joint products such as supplements that include missions for the Conan board game, and tile-sets to use miniatures with the RPG.
