Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.
Several years ago I had posted about how Queen Games was going to release a board game based on the popular Crysis video game. It didn’t pan out as soon as expected. Now, Frame 6 has taken up the mantle and has started a Kickstarter project for Crysis: Analog Edition. They actually explain how the game came from Queen to them.
The game was originally licensed to Queen Games for publishing. After the license agreement expired and the game hadn’t yet been released, we offered to take over and acquired the publishing rights from Crytek. We now take care of the entire game production from design to publishing.
Crysis will be cooperative, and for 2-8 players. An $85 pledge will ensure you a copy of the game if it’s funded. There’s plenty of stretch goals and finery if the game manages to raise more than its goal of $94,851.
