Welcome to Purple Pawn, covering games played around the world by billions of people every day.
This week’s Parlay idea came about after hearing Obsidian Portal was donating a prize to our Read an RPG in Public Week Contest.
What I’d like to know is, how many of you out there use some sort of online tool for your hobby? I’m not just talking about playing games online, but tracking collections, plays, campaign information, reading variant rules, etc…
I’ve been a long time user of Geekdo to track my board game collection and plays. I also use it to research new games, and have recently started using rpg.geekdo.com to track my RPGs.
I also have an Obsidian Portal account, though my time to actually setup a full campain (or even PLAY RPGs) has been very limited lately. I should also mention that before rpg.geekdo.com, that I used RPG.net to track my RPG collection.
So what online tools do you use, if any? To what extent do you use them?
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
I’ve been recording my board game collection and games played on Geekdo for a few years and am just getting started doing the same with RPGs.
Geekdo(I still think of it as boardgamegeek) for the win. I track my collection and my plays.
