Last year we told you about EdTec 670 at San Diego State University. I’m happy to tell you that it is back again this year.

If you find yourself closer to Texas than to California, you can try SCCL 6366 Understanding Civilization Through Board Games at SMU, in which you learn to appreciate what board games pick up from their cultures and then design one to reflect ours.

If these sound academic and, you know, learning and stuff, you can instead try IE156A Introduction to Board Games at Baker University in Kansas, which is apparently just playing board games (including modern Euros). Other interesting courses offered by Baker U this year include Fundamentals of Fly Fishing, The History of Football, Dining and Discussion (how to cook and talk during dinner), and Life Lessons of Star Trek.
