Ben and Rett slog through the latest news – White Wolf releases printed material?!, wish they too were at Origins and then debate whether too many games are released during the summer selling season. Rett explains why so many games come out, but Ben says the logic is flawed. Who’s right?
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
I just wanted to inform you Alex Swingle is my real name. I felt it would have been a dishonor not to use my real name for all the service you have provided me. Keep going overboard on the info. It does help more than it hurts.
Following up on your Summer Release segment, are there certain times of the year a genre sells better than others? For example, would I be more likely to see a sales growth in card games during the fall than during the Spring? Are miniatures generally an all year business with no real change quarter to quarter? I’ve wandered about it and it would be cool to hear the juicy details (even if that juice is really cob webs glazed over some gears.).
Alex if everyone did that the Internet would simply cease to function as we know it!!! You’re not supposed to use your real – (pauses to look at own handle) – never mind.
In any case, you raise some good questions that we will tackle on the next show as I can’t do them justice in a couple paragraph post. Also, Rett will want to go on and on about it. :)
Thanks for listening!
