This Saturday is Gaming in the Library Day and November is (maybe) National Game Design Month. Ben and Rett discuss these and other news tidbits such as the drop in toy imports, Job openings at Hasbro and video game sales resurgence. (Astute listeners will note that there is no episode #57. We recorded it, but didn’t get a chance to release it. :) ).
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Thanks for the honesty regarding #57. I’ve known many a webcasts who remove stuff and don’t say why. I know it’s Ben’s and Rhet’s work and they don’t have to explain their actions, but it says a lot to the listeners when you are translucent like that. Any news if #57 will be released in the future?
Now on to #58. Woohoo! In regards to the toy imports, do you see this as a precursor to increase prices on toys in general or as an indicator that the toy business is shrinking/relocating their business to a different part of the market like video games and such?
Alex-
I promise I will release #57 if I have time to edit it! That said, you bring up a very good question about the toy business. We’ll try to answer that in our next show. :)
